2017-2018 Supply Lists

Kindergarten Supplies

Please send your child to school with the following items to be used in our class by Friday, September 15.

  • One 4-pack of Play-Doh brand Play-Dou any color.
  • 3 boxes of 24 CRAYOLA crayons
  • 5 large glue sticks
  • 2 activity books- this could be a coloring book or puzzle book (any kind of book your child would enjoy working in INDEPENDENTLY during quiet time) Label with your child’s name.
  • 1 two inch three ring binder with the see-through sleeve on the cover for a title page.Any color
  • 3 boxes tissues
  • 1 container baby wipes
  • 2 containers disinfecting wipes (ex: Clorox, Lysol)
  • 1 pair of child friendly scissors (blunt or pointy tip).Lefty scissors if your child is left handed.
  • A backpack large enough to fit a binder.No wheels Please

Please, we ask that you DO NOT label anything with your child’s name except for the activity books.

 

First Grade Supplies

  • Smock for art- an old T-shirt works best
  • Plastic pencil case- no larger than 4 ½” high X 12” long
  • Backpack- no wheels please
  • 2 Black Dry erase markers
  • 2 pocket folders
  • 4 large glue sticks
  • 4 large pink erasers
  • 1 lg. hand pump sanitizer
  • 1 pack baby wipes
  • 2 containers disinfecting wipes (Ex: Clorox or Lysol)
  • 2 Boxes of tissues
  • Child safety scissors
  • Box of crayons- no larger than 24 count
  • Pack of (3) yellow 3” x 3” Post-its
  • 1 pack of (2) yellow highlighters
  • 2 marble notebooks (black and white)
  • 2 boxes #2 pencils sharpened
  • 1 pack colored pencils
  • 2 blue pens
  • 2 1 inch Staples Heavy Duty View 3 ring binders
  • 1 5-tab pocket dividers
  • 4 pack Play-Doh

**Snack Procedures: Every morning the children will take a short break to eat snack as a class.  Please send in an individual snack for your child daily.

Second Grade Supplies

1 one-inch 3-ring binder with a clear view window on the front cover

1 box of #2 pencils

4 marble notebooks

1 PLASTIC folder with inside pockets

2 BLACK whiteboard markers (NO COLOR MARKERS PLEASE)

1 pair of safety scissors

3 boxes of tissues

3 glue sticks

1 pack of 24 count colored pencils

1 small plastic pencil sharpener with cover

2 yellow highlighters

1 container of Lysol or Clorox wipes

1 container baby wipes

2 rolls paper towels

1 pair of ear buds or headphones that can remain in school (labeled with child’s name in a clear baggie)

Third Grade Supplies

  • 1 1/2”, 3-ring binder with a clear pocket cover (known as a presentation binder)

NO Trapper Keepers please!

  • Binder dividers-word study, readers workshop, writers workshop, math
  • 2 composition marble notebooks-wide ruled
  • A zippered pencil case. No clear storage boxes please.
  • 10 # 2 pencils, 2 red pens, 2 highlighters—any color, 2 glue sticks
  • Colored pencils

Students will be provided a box of crayons.

  • Smock for Art-something with long sleeves is best
  • 2 containers of baby wipes of Lysol wipes or Clorox wipes
  • 3 large boxes of tissues
  • 2 Post-it pads, different colors 3” X 3”
  • A small flashlight for “Flashlight Friday”
  • Multiplication and division flash cards
  • One picture from “Summer 2017.”It can be an individual picture or a family photo.

4th Grade Supplies

  • 1 blue one-subject notebook with a pocket folder
  • 2- 3-subject notebooks with pocket folders
  • #2 pencils with erasers  
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • Blue or black pens
  • Colored ink pen
  • 1 extra large or jumbo book sock (If it doesn't say extra large or jumbo it will not fit!!)
  • 2 highlighters
  • 2 dry erase markers
  • 1 dry erase eraser
  • 2 containers disinfectant wipes
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 package post-it notes
  • 1 pencil sharpener with attached container for shavings
  • Pencil case
  • 3 Pocket folders (Music, Art, Spanish)

Helpful hint:  Don't forget to check the dollar store.  

5th Grade Supplies

Math

  • 1 red one subject notebook
  • 1 red pocket folder
  • 1 Jumbo Booksock (any color)

Language Arts

  • (2) 1” View binder
  • 1 package 8-tab POCKET dividers
  • 1 marbled composition notebook (any color or design)
  • 4 pocket folders (Homeroom, Art, Music, Spanish)

All supplies should fit into a zipper style pencil case and be labeled

  • 1 box colored pencils
  • 2 highlighters (light in color)
  • 2 packages Post-It notes
  • 2 colored pens for correcting
  • Several erasable pens (blue or black)
  • #2 pencils (not mechanical)
  • Small hand sharpener with cover
  • Inexpensive pair headphones or earbuds (try Five Below)
  • Copy of your favorite Summer Reading book*

Optional Items for the Classroom:

  • Box tissues
  • Bottle hand sanitizer or antibacterial hand wipes
  • Disinfectant wipes (Clorox/Lysol)
  • Roll of paper towels

*Within the first few weeks of September, you will use your favorite summer reading book during the launching of Reader’s Workshop.
