The Lincoln School community, serving 440 students, strives to create a nurturing, academic learning environment where students uncover their passions, learn from their mistakes, and gain independence. The Lincoln School community utilizes a "whole child" approach in order to support students who are happy, safe, engaged, challenged, and empowered to learn, grow, and achieve. Lincoln School students strive to be "Lincoln Leaders" by embodying our core values: Respect, Honesty, Perseverance, Empathy, Kindness, Courage, Teamwork, Inclusion, and Safety.
The Nutley Educational Foundation is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization established to provide alternative sources of funding for educational endeavors in the schools and community of Nutley. NEF was established in 2003, and has been re-organized and reinvigorated over the past 10 years. During that time, we have had numerous volunteers who have helped in specific areas of our organization who have now moved on and we need to fill these positions to be able to continue to serve our district and the community.
The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
