Kindergarten Registration 2010

Mr. Joseph Zarra, Superintendent of Schools, announces that the September 2010 kindergarten registration for children attaining the age of five years on, or before, October 1, 2010, will be accepted at the Nutley High School Cafeteria, 300 Franklin Avenue from Monday, March 8, 2010 through Friday, March 12, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We will be accepting registrations for Lincoln and Radcliffe Schools on Monday, March 8, 2010, Spring Garden and Washington Schools on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, Yantacaw School and all other schools on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Thursday and Friday we will be accepting additional registrations for all schools. Alternate registration dates will be March 15, 16, 17 and 18th 2010 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Main Office of Nutley High School. After these dates, contact Mrs. Jean Boyle (973)320-8494 for an appointment to register your child.

Parents must bring all of the following residency information: N.J. driver’s license or town ID with Nutley address also current utility bills (one of each) including PSE&G, water, cable, and a phone bill. In addition, homeowners need a mortgage statement or tax bill. Renters, a certified landlord statement and lease must be provided at the time of registration. Please provide the following documents for the child being registered: original birth certificate; custody papers (if applicable) as well as health records (VACCINATIONS: DPT(4), measles(2), mumps(1), rubella(1), polio(3), varivax(1) and hepatitis B(3) as required by New Jersey law). A Mantoux Test is recommended but not required. Children need not accompany parents at the time of registration.

PLEASE NOTE – Students must be registered in district of residence – if a move is made after registration to another Nutley district, a new registration must be completed and the child will be required to start in the new residing district.
