These facts are discribing the snow leopard.

  • They are 47 to 59 inches in length, its tail is 31 to 39 inches long. They are very rare due to being hunted.
  • The snow leopard is found in the high mountains of Central Asia, specifically the Himalayas, Altai and Hindu Kush.
  • The snow leopard’s prey includes wild sheep, wild boars, gazelles, hares, marmots, mice and deer.
  • Snow leopards are most active in the early morning and late afternoon. They live in rocky caverns and crevices.
