Statue Of Liberty

Ryan and Geoff

The Statue of Liberty came from France into the U.S. in 350 pieces and had to be put together. The torch is a symbol of freedom.
There are 354 steps inside, 25 viewing windows in the crown, and the seven rays of Liberty's crown stands for the seven seas and seven continents. The tablet she holds in her left hand has in Roman numerals, July 4th, 1776, ( July IV, M DCCLXXVI) the day America claimed it's independence from Britain and Democracy was born. See more pictures.
