Hardware Basics for SMART Board 600i

  | There is a control module just to the left of the pen tray, with a volume knob and two buttons. The Power button turns the system on and off and the indicator light around the button flashes green when the lamp is starting up. The light turns a solid green to indicate it is ON. Press the power button a second time to turn it off.

  | The Hide/Show button is used to show or hide the projector software interface.

  | When you first turn on the 600i select the option you need to use.

  | The SMART pen tray has four color slots for the pen tools and one slot for the eraser. Each slot has an optical sensor to identify when the pen tools and eraser have been picked up.

  | There are three buttons directly below the eraser slot. The first large button launches the On-Screen Keyboard. The one beside it will make your next touch on the whiteboard a right-click. Pressing both buttons together starts the orientation process to calibrate the interactive whiteboard. The third button launches the online help.
