Miss Cancelliere, Miss Tsairis

Wow! We are off to a great start this year.  We learned Mr. N, Ms. A, and we are working on Mr. D. this week.  The children love the letter people!  Next week is our first class trip to Alstede Farms.  We are so excited!  On October 29 we are going to the Nutley Fire House and Police Station.  Halloween is just around the corner and we can’t wait to see how cute our little pumpkins are going to be.  The children are so excited!

** Remember to hug your child everyday and tell them how much they are loved!!

This year is going to be a very fun and exciting year for the children.  Kindergarten is a time of tremendous growth, as they enter as young students and just grow and flourish and become ready to read.  We will explore the areas of science, math, language arts and social studies, interact with new friends, and share a lot of great experiences.  It will be a foundation for many learning experiences to come.

Miss Marra

In Kindergarten we are practicing writing, cutting, letters, numbers, and more!  We are reaching our goal of reading 100 books a little more each day!  We are showing we know our school/classroom rules and how to be a good friend to each other.  Also, soon we will have 2 new classmates! FISH!  As the leaves start to change colors, we will be collecting leaves to use for a project.  More fun is on the way!
