Principal’s Message

Dear Lincoln School Family,

Fall is upon us, and our school year is well underway. Our students and teachers are really in the swing of learning and growing!  The children have made new friends and become used to the routines of each of their grades and teachers.   Our Lincoln School family increased over the summer with our current enrollment in grades Pre-K through 6 at 483.  The staff has done an outstanding job creating a learning environment that is positive, safe, nurturing, and academically challenging for our children. Their commitment to their profession and dedication to the children of Lincoln School is second to none.  I am proud to say that I am a member of this school community.

We are working very hard to create and maintain the safest environment possible for our students.  Please remember that students should only be dropped off on the school side of Brown Street in the mornings and at lunchtime.  They should then proceed to their designated doors to enter the building.  I would encourage parents to remain in their vehicles after dropping their children off to keep the flow of traffic moving and avoid congestion.

Please make every effort to get your child to school on time and remain with us for the entire day.  It is critical to their success that they do not miss any portion of the day.  If your child will be absent, please be sure to call the office at 973-661-8883 and let them know.  If we do not receive a call someone will be contacting you to confirm the absence.

We are looking forward to working together to insure that the children of Lincoln School become successful citizens and lifetime learners.   I encourage parents and guardians to become involved with the school and keep the lines of communication open.  Remember that I am available to meet with you to address any questions or concerns you may have.

I am confident that with all of us working together, Lincoln School will continue to be a place where students are happy and grow up to become successful members of our community.
