Nutley High School Music Education Department

ABOUT US

The NHS Music Department’s mission has always been to provide a fun and educational music experience to all students of Nutley High School.  The Music Department is split into the departments of Instrumental and Vocal Music.

· Instrumental Music - The instrumental music program supports concert band, jazz band, marching band, orchestra, and winter color guard.

· Vocal Music - The vocal music program includes Chamber Singers, Choralettes, Concert Choir, Madrigals, and Octets.

All of our music organizations are very active in the high school community and the Township of Nutley performing at various events. Groups have won numerous awards at various festivals and competitions throughout the East Coast.
