Please review the Lincoln Supply list, by grade.

Kindergarten Supplies

Please send your child to school with the following items to be used in our class by Friday, September 13.  PLEASE NOTE that these are supplies all of the kindergarten teachers are requesting.  Additional supply requests will be provided by the individual kindergarten teachers once school has started.

  • 3 boxes of 24 CRAYOLA crayons
  • 5 large glue sticks
  • 2 activity books- this could be a coloring book or puzzle book (any kind of book your child would enjoy working in INDEPENDENTLY during quiet time) Label with your child’s name.
  • Four or six pack of Play-Dou brand play Dou.  Any color will do.
  • A backpack big enough to fit a binder.  NO WHEELS please.

The following “Classroom Pantry Supplies are also needed.  Please do NOT send on the first day of school

  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 1 container baby wipes
  • 2 containers disinfecting wipes (ex: Clorox, Lysol)

Please, we ask that you DO NOT label anything with your child’s name except for the activity books.

 

First Grade Supplies

  • Plastic pencil case- no larger than 4 ½” high X 12” long
  • Backpack- no wheels please
  • 2 pocket folders
  • 4 large glue sticks
  • 4 large pink erasers
  • 1 lg. hand pump sanitizer
  • 1 pack baby wipes
  • 2 containers disinfecting wipes (Ex: Clorox or Lysol)
  • 2 Boxes of tissues
  • Child safety scissors
  • Box of crayons- no larger than 24 count
  • Pack of (3) yellow 3” x 3” Post-its
  • 1 pack of (2) yellow highlighters
  • 2 marble notebooks (black and white)
  • 2 boxes #2 pencils sharpened
  • 1 pack colored pencils sharpened
  • 2 blue pens
  • 2 1 inch Staples Heavy Duty View 3 ring binders
  • 1 5-tab pocket dividers
  • 4 pack Play-Doh
  • 1 pack of clear sheet protectors
  • 1 manual pencil sharpener with removable lid

**Snack Procedures: Every morning the children will take a short break to eat snack as a class.  Please send in an individual snack for your child daily.

Second Grade Supplies

**Please bring a list of the books you read over the summer**

 

  • 1 one-inch 3-ring binder with a clear view window on the front cover
  • 1 box of #2 pencils- sharpened please
  • 4 marble notebooks
  • 1 PLASTIC folder with inside pockets
  • 2 BLACK whiteboard markers (NO COLOR MARKERS PLEASE)
  • 1 pair of safety scissors
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 3 glue sticks
  • 1 pack of 24 count colored pencils
  • 1 small plastic pencil sharpener with cover
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 1 pack 3X3 Post-its
  • 1 12 inch/centimeter ruler
  • 1 container of Lysol or Clorox wipes
  • 1 container baby wipes
  • 2 rolls of paper towels
  • 1 pair of ear buds or headphones that can remain in school (labeled with child’s name in a clear baggie)
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

Third Grade Supplies

 

  • Bookbag
  • 1 One inch 3-ring binder with a clear pocket cover (known as a presentation binder)
  • 1 pack clear sheet protectors
  • 2 different colored PLASTIC 2 pocket folders- 1 for Spanish and 1 for Music
  • 2 boxes # 2 pencils Ticonderoga recommended
  • 2 highlighters—any color
  • 2 Black dry-erase low odor markers (No color markers please)
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 pair safety scissors
  • 3 marble notebooks
  • 1 pack of 12 or 24 count Colored pencils
  • 2 packs of 24 count crayons
  • 2 containers of wipes of Lysol wipes or Clorox wipes
  • 3 large boxes of tissues
  • 1 container of baby wipes
  • 2 rolls paper towels
  • 2 Post-it pads, different colors 3” X 3”
  • A small flashlight for “Flashlight Friday”
  • 1 pair of head phones or ear buds labeled with your child’s name

4th Grade Supplies

 

  • 1 One-inch binder for Social Studies, Science, and Health.
  • 1 package of dividers
  • 2 black and white marble notebooks
  • 2 Glue Sticks
  • 2 packs #2 pencils with erasers
  • 4 packs Post-Its 
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • 2 colored pens for correcting work
  • 1 Red extra-large or jumbo book sock (If it doesn't say extra large or jumbo it will not fit!!)
  • 1 Red 1 subject notebook for Math
  • 1 pack multi-colored highlighters
  • 4 dry erase markers
  • protractor
  • 1 container disinfectant wipes
  • 1 container hand sanitizer
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 4 package post-it notes
  • 1 pencil sharpener with attached container for shavings
  • Zipper style Pencil case
  • 3 Pocket folders (Music, Art, Spanish)
  • 1 Yellow Take Home folder
  • 1 Black Work in Progress folder
  • Inexpensive pair of ear buds or head phones

Helpful hint:  Don't forget to check the dollar store.

As the year progresses, it is expected that your child will need to replenish certain supplies.  In case you would like to keep extras on hand, the following supplies often require replacement: tissues, pencils, erasers, Post-its, glue sticks, and coloring supplies.

5th Grade Supplies

 

Supplies for Content

  • 1 one-subject lined spiral notebook
  • 1 One-inch Heavy Duty View Binder
  • 1 JUMBO Booksock (any color)
  • 6 Three Hole pocket folders (heavy duty; poly/plastic)
  • 1 Composition notebook (any color)

 

Supplies for Student

  • Zipper style pencil case
  • Inexpensive pair of headphones or ear buds
  • 1 dozen # 2 pencils (not mechanical)
  • Large eraser; not pencil top
  • 1 12 pack box colored pencils or Twistables
  • 3 pack Scotch tape
  • 2 highlighters
  • 2 packs Post-It notes
  • Package erasable pens (blue or black)
  • 2 colored pens for correcting
  • Hand sharpener with cover

 

Optional Items for the Classroom:

  • 2 boxes tissues
  • 2 containers of cleaning antibacterial wipes
  • 1 bottle Hand sanitizer

 

This is a general 5th grade supply list.  Your child may be asked to bring in specific supplies from their homeroom teacher and will have ample time to bring them to class. 

 

Within the first few weeks of September, you will use your favorite summer reading book during the launching of Reader’s Workshop.
