The Nutley Athletic Department is pleased to announce the start of the 2022 Fall sports season.  Beginning this week, all the Raider Nation will be in full swing with games and matches set to be played both home and away.

The Raider tennis team will play local rival Bloomfield in Bloomfield on Wednesday, September 6 and the girls’ soccer team will open their season at home under the lights at the Park oval at 6:30pm on Thursday, September 8, against Newark Academy.  This will mark the first night soccer game under the lights at the Park Oval.

The boys’ soccer team will begin their season on Friday at Father Glotzbach field at 4pm against Barringer and the football team will take on the Montclair Mounties at home on Friday night at the Park Oval.

As always, our NHS Marching Band will perform at halftime of home football games.

All spectators and visitors are reminded that the no bag policy will be in effect for the entire game.  Visitors are encouraged to arrive “bag free” or with a clear bag, where items can be visible at the gate.

“This is a very exciting time for the NHS Athletic Department and all of our programs have been working very hard in anticipation of the 20222 season,” said Mr. Joe Piro, Athletic Director.  “We look forward to seeing all of our Raider Nation faithful fans and wish all of our student athletes good luck.”
