New Security Entrance on New Street

Please be advised that as of Monday December 11th 2017,  all access to NHS during school hours must occur through the new security entrance on New Street.

  • Parents dropping off items for their students will be required to place items in the drop off window.

  • Anyone picking up students during the school day must be on the Realtime contact list and will be required to show Photo Identification.

  • Anyone with an appointment with school staff will be asked to wait in the lounge.  If an appointment has not be prearranged, parents and guardians may be asked to return when an appointment has been secured.

  • When dropping off and/or picking up your students, do not enter the faculty parking lot before or after school.  All student drop-offs should occur on Vincent Place or Franklin Avenue.  For students with documented medical issues, drop-offs are permitted by the New Street Entrance.

  • As it pertains to the overall safety in our community and campus, please be mindful of safe driving habits and pedestrian safety.

Attendance Office - Security Policy

Please be aware the Attendance Office is enforcing District Policy #5230, which requires anyone picking up a student from the high school to be on the contact list and provide documentation to verify their identification, such as a driver's license. If you have not updated your student's contact information recently, please login to the parent portal and do so.

Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe!
