Superintendent Search - Public Forum

Wednesday, February 10, 2016
JHW Middle School Choir Room
7:00 p.m.

The Board of Education has hired Dr. William Librera of West Hudson Associates to run the search for the next superintendent.

Dr. Librera will be holding a forum to gather information from parents and community members as to what they are looking for in the next superintendent.

The public forum will be held in the Choir Room of the JHW Middle School on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m.

This is an opportunity for community members to voice their ideas as individuals, cycling through and allowing comments from all who attend.

Also, an online survey is available for those who either cannot attend or wish to add comments later.

The Board of Education values what you have to say and is asking for your input as they go through this important process.

Thank you,

The New Jersey Department of Education has released school and district HIB grades for the 2014-2015 school year as stated in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act.  The Nutley Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the district's HIB webpage, and to each individual school's webpage.  The grades reflect the district’s and each school’s implementation of the ABR from July 2014 – June 2015.  These grades were determined by a district self-assessment released by the New Jersey Department of Education Commissioner.

Spring Garden School Backpack

In an effort to help the environment and to cut back on the amount of paper we use each year, Spring Garden is going to begin posting most of the fliers on line. This includes notices from Parks & Rec as well as school notices. These notices will now be located in the Backpack Quick Link located above the PTO Link to the left. Please make sure to check the Backpack frequently, as we will no longer be sending these notices home in your child’s backpack. Notices that need immediate attention or are for emergency closings will still be send home in paper form.
