Congratulations to the following members of the NHS Indoor Track and Field Teams for their record setting performances at the Essex County Relays this past weekend:

Freshman Meya Ranges, sophomore Jaylin Romero, and seniors Adrianna Quinn and Marcella Blancato who smahed the school record in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 13 minutes, 31.38 seconds. They broke the old record by an AMAZING 13.29 seconds. 

And an hour or so later....

Freshman Meya Ranges, sophomore Jaylin Romero, and seniors Emma Kirby and Marcella Blancato who absolutely destroyed the school 4 x 800 Meter relay record with a time of 10 minutes. 31.26 seconds. Breaking the old record by a mind boggling 17.32 seconds. 

Congratulations to them and all the members of the track and field teams who competed amazingly well on Saturday representing NHS with class and pride. To Coach Ryan for "Winning" Fun Sock Friday according to Marcella Blancato.

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
