The Nutley Music Boosters, in partnership with the Nutley Public School District, are excited to present the 2025 Nutley Summer Music Program, running July 14–25 at Nutley High School.

Open to students entering Grades 3 through 12 in September 2025, the program offers small group lessons in strings, band instruments, voice, and piano. We're delighted to introduce a variety of other courses, including a Musical Theatre Boot Camp, a Jazz Combo, and Introduction to Color Guard and Marching Percussion.

Each course includes 5 hours of instruction, and students may register for multiple classes. Fees are $125 for instrumental/voice course(s) and $150 for musical theatre and jazz combo.

Course Instructors include:

  • Mr. Michael Bereski - Piano, Double Bass and Jazz Combo
  • Mr. Josh DeWald - Percussion and Drum Set
  • Mrs. Kim Furtado - Intro to Color Guard
  • Mr. Zachary Mackewicz - Woodwind Instruments
  • Mr. Andrew Mayewski - Brass Instruments
  • Miss Lornaa Morales - Intro to Marching Percussion
  • Ms. Elizabeth Nowik - String Instruments
  • Mr. Anthony Salimbene - Intro to Marching Percussion
  • Ms. Alexandra Vecchio - Musical Theatre and Voice

Registration is online only and due by Friday, June 13, 2025.

About

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
