Re:          Freshmen Orientation (Monday, August 23, 2021)

Dear NHS Freshmen,

We are excited about the upcoming year!  We are even more excited to see you begin your 4-year journey at NHS.

To support your transition into NHS, the Nutley High School Administration and School Counseling Department will be holding an orientation for incoming freshmen students on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 9:00 am to approximately 12:30 pm.  Students are to enter through the doors on Franklin Avenue and meet in the auditorium.

The program will include:

  •  Student schedules

  •  Overview of NHS policies, resources and extracurricular   activities

  •  Group meetings with school counselors

  •  Guided tours of the NHS facilities

We ask that you make every effort to attend the orientation to ensure that your transition to NHS is smooth and that you are well informed.  In the event that you are not able to attend, the NHS administration will provide an overview screencast that will be made available to you.

We look forward to meeting you and building a strong foundation for your future success.

Please contact Mr. Williams with any questions.

Thank you.
