The Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a variety of weekly

Sporting programs for students with special needs.

 

FUN FOR ALL is an adaptive recreation program offering a variety of seasonal

Sports and social activities on a weekly basis throughout the school year.

Participation in the program will introduce your child to the tremendous benefits

Of sports where the focus is more on learning the basics, enjoying fitness,

Developing friendships and having FUN! Good sportsmanship and accepting

Individual differences and abilities is fostered throughout the sessions.

High levels of reinforcement and recognition are provided to each player for

Their level of participation. Modifications are made as needed to enable all

Participants to play and enjoy the experience.

 

FUN FOR ALL will be held in the Radcliffe School gymnasium beginning

Wednesday, November 3 2021 through May 18, 2022.  The program will run

Throughout the school year with the exception of school closings and special BOE

functions.

Session I for ages 5- 11 years old will run from 6:30-7:30 pm and Session II

For ages, 12-21 will follow from 7:30-8:30 pm.

Program fee is $75 for the first family member and $25 for each additional.

About

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
