Open Houses and Back to School Nights help parents learn about their student/s daily schedule and goals for the year. This year we will hold these events virtually for parents to learn more about the year ahead. We hope that these sessions provide insight into the daily routines of your student/s and help you get to know more about their teachers and courses.

Elementary schools will hold Virtual Back to School Nights on Wednesday, September 29th.  Sessions that night will include live and pre-recorded sessions. Details and more specifics on these evenings will be shared with you in the coming days by your building principal. Please note: As in the past, elementary students will be dismissed at 2:30pm on Wednesday, September 29th to allow time for teachers to prepare.

This year, Virtual Back to School Night at JHWMS and NHS will include pre-recorded presentations from each classroom teacher and a pre-recorded message from the building principal. A directory of presentation links will be created for each building to guide parents at their own pace through their child’s schedule. The JHWMS directory of recordings will be posted here on the district website beginning on Tuesday, September 28th. The NHS directory will be posted here beginning on Thursday, September 30th.

Also, please note that Schoology parent account information was sent to all parents on September 23rd. Parents can use their Schoology accounts to view updates and announcements, to view their children’s courses, materials, resources, updates, and calendar events.

As always, thank you for your support during this school year.
