Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 11:30am, Nutley Public Schools will be conducting a test of our School Messenger Communication System.  School Messenger is used to notify parents/guardians in case of school related emergencies, school closures and other important school announcements.

 

To test this system, an automated message will be sent via email and phone to parents/guardians through School Messenger, using the contact information you have provided in your child’s Realtime Parent Portal.  If you have not customized your contact settings in School Messenger, the system will email the first two email addresses listed under the primary contact, and dial the first three primary contact phone numbers in your Realtime portal.  Be sure you have made any necessary email and phone updates in your parent portal prior to Wednesday.

 

Those who successfully receive this message do not need to do anything.  If for some reason you do not receive the message, please recheck your Realtime Parent Portal information, making any necessary updates.  If you are unsure as to why the message was not received, please contact the Main Office in your child’s school as listed below:

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
