Dear New Kindergarten Parent / Guardian: 

Welcome to the Nutley Public Schools!  Our staff is ready to welcome and assist you and your child during this exciting time and throughout the years ahead.

 

Now that you have registered your child for the 2022 Kindergarten class, we would like to invite you and your child to our Kindergarten Orientation at your child’s school on the dates/times below. The Orientation will give you and your child the opportunity to see the school, meet our staff, and learn more about our curriculum and programming. 

 

Lincoln School Orientation: May 11th, 2:00 p.m.

Radcliffe School Orientation: May 5th, 1:00 p.m.

Spring Garden School Orientation: May 19th, 1:00 p.m.

Washington School Orientation: May 18th, 1:00 p.m.

Yantacaw School Orientation: May 12th, 1:30 p.m.

 

We will also hold kindergarten screenings later this spring to help us learn more about your child and plan for how best to meet their instructional needs. You should have signed up for a time slot for your child to receive this screening when you registered. If you have not signed up for a time to have your child screened, please contact Jean Boyle in our registration office at (973) 320-8494. 

 

We are excited to welcome you to our school community and your child to kindergarten. We look forward to seeing you and your child at our Kindergarten Orientation this spring!

About

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
