We are pleased to announce that Jianine Gambaro will be recognized as this year's Jaycees' Educator of the Year.

This is Jainine's 35th year in the district. She began her career at Washington School, before moving to Radcliffe where she was both a classroom teacher and then the Library/Media Specialist. For the past two years, Jainine has been the district K-6 Literacy Coach.

A Nutley Public Schools alumnus, Jainine received her BA from Montclair State University; her MA from Marygrove College; and her Library Certificate from Montclair State University. Over the years, Jainine has been active in Student Council, Math Night, and the Professional Development Committee.

A dinner, honoring Jainine and the other recipients, will be held on Thursday, April 13th at the Valley Regency. Ticket information will follow.

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
