Last Saturday, two NHS students were selected to participate in the Montclair Literary Festival at at Montclair State University. As part of the "Voices of Tomorrow" panel, Seniors Lilliana Van de Zilver and Xael Leon represented Nutley alongside the best writers from schools across Essex County. This is not the first honor for either writer. Lilly was the winner of the 2025 NHS poetry contest, and Xael had her work published in the 2024 issue of "The Red Wheelbarrow Poetry Collection." You can read both of their work in the upcoming issue of the NHS Literary Magazine, which is set to release later this month.
