Recently, a paraprofessional at Radcliffe school, employed by an outside agency contracted by the district, was involved in an incident that resulted in police charges. This incident occurred outside of school and outside of the individual’s district employment.

Upon learning of the situation, the district immediately contacted the agency and directed that the individual be removed from service within the district.

As part of our contractual agreement, all agency-provided employees must complete and pass required background checks prior to placement. The district has worked with reputable staffing agencies for many years to help fill essential positions.

The safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority, and we will continue to ensure that all individuals working in our schools meet the highest standards of conduct and professionalism. As this is a police matter, and we are not involved directly, the district cannot provide any more information or answer further questions.
