Nutley Public Schools has been honored with the “Best Communities for Music Education” (BCME) designation from The NAMM Foundation, recognizing our continued commitment to providing high-quality music education for all students. This marks the 17th time Nutley has received this distinction (and counting).

To qualify for the BCME designation, the district completed a comprehensive review process that included detailed information on student demographics, funding, graduation requirements, music participation, instructional time, faculty, facilities, and support for both school-based and community music programs. All responses were verified by school officials and reviewed by The Music Research Institute at the University of Kansas.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize our exceptional music department and the dedicated staff who inspire and support our students each day. Thank you for your continued commitment to our music program and for the positive impact you make on our schools and community.
