This year, we are thrilled to welcome our first sixth grade class to the middle school. This grade level shift has spent years in the planning stages and we cannot wait to have grades 6, 7 and 8 together at John H. Walker Middle School, when school opens on Wednesday.

After working closely with the community, staff and middle school administration, we are confident that the middle school will be an exciting place for students to learn and grow. Construction has been completed on our new classrooms and Media Center in the building. Sixth grade teachers began to move into the spaces earlier this month. We know our team is excited and we hope our students are too. This move would not be possible without the support and partnership of the Township and Commissioners.

โ€œOur staff is ready and excited to welcome our students here,โ€ said Principal Joe Materia. โ€œThere was a lot of excitement during sixth grade orientation last week and we know this move will bring the community and our students great opportunity.โ€
