2026-2027 PRE-K EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM

Our mission at the Nutley Preschool Extended Day Program is to provide a joyful and secure environment where young children learn new things, build friendships, and feel confident in who they are. We inspire exploration and discovery through engaging activities, ensuring every child thrives in a safe and happy place.

Program Hours:  Before School 7:30 a.m. - 8:40 a.m.

                            After School 2:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

DATES: 2026-2027 

Please note, a district-wide email will be sent out confirming the opening registration date. After the closing date, registrations will not be accepted for the month of September. If you plan to enroll your child after the start of the school year, registration will re-open September 15th for an October 1st start.  

• *EXTENDED DAY WILL ONLY ALLOW ENTRY INTO THE PROGRAM BEGINNING EACH MONTH OF THE SCHOOL CALENDAR (September-June). NO MID-MONTH ENTRY WILL BE PERMITTED. FAMILIES MUST PAY FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH. RATES WILL NOT BE ADJUSTED FOR ATTENDANCE, SCHOOL CLOSURES, OR PLANNED BREAKS.

Extended Day will NOT run at all on the first two days of school September 2 & 3, 2026

After care will END at 3:00 p.m. on the last day of school June 17, 2027

After care will NOT run on the following days: (but, before care WILL run)

• Friday, October 30, 2026 - lunch dismissal/return - Halloween Parade
• Thursday, November 19, 2026 - ½ day - Parent/Teacher Conferences
• Wednesday, November 25, 2026 - ½ day - Thanksgiving Recess
• Wednesday, December 23, 2026 - ½ day -  Winter Recess

HOW TO REGISTER:

** You must have your student's ID number. We will provide your child's ID# in our email communication to you, separately for each child. You can also find it in the REALTIME parent portal. If you encounter any difficulties upon registering, try using a computer instead of a phone.

For Students NEW to the district: 

1. First, create a My School Bucks account by visiting www.myschoolbucks.com. 
2. After your My School Bucks account is set up, log in to www.msbactivities.com and sign in with the same username and password created for My School Bucks.
3. Complete the Registration and Set up Auto Pay upon acceptance into the program.

For RETURNING students: 

1. With the same username and password used last school year, log in to www.msbactivities.com .
2. Complete the Registration and Set up Auto Pay upon acceptance into the program.

Registration RULES: 

• Once registration has been accepted you will receive an invoice 24 hours  later in your My School Bucks account. 
• Please note that spots in this program are NOT unlimited. You MUST register in a timely manner to secure your spot.               
• All payments and registration for the Extended Day program MUST be made through the www.myschoolbucks.com website. Payments will NOT be accepted at the schools or the extended day office. 

• All families should enroll in AUTO PAY. Failure to set up Auto Pay can contribute to missed payments, which can result in removal from the program.  (Instructions for Auto Pay set-up - CLICK HERE) Please note that Auto Pay must be set up using a computer, not a cell phone.

   

Monthly RATES for the 2026-2027 School Year are as follows:

*There will be a one time registration fee of $50.
