Radcliffe School Supply List for September 2026

 

**Students are permitted to bring in refillable water bottles. All water bottles must be able to seal shut. Water bottles that have straws are not allowed; they fall (often) and leak. Pop-top water bottles are recommended.  

 

Kindergarten

(4) BLACK FINE point Expo dry erase markers, (4) Elmer’s glue sticks, (1) eraser for the dry erase board, (2) Pocket Folders, Activity or Coloring Book, 4 pack (regular size) of Play-Doh

 

Grade 1

We kindly request that each student bring the following items to school on the first day:

Classroom Supplies: These supplies will be pooled together and distributed as needed throughout the school year. This approach helps us to manage resources efficiently and ensures that every student has access to the necessary materials at all times.

  • (2) 24-pack crayons
  • (2) 12 packs of Ticonderoga pencils
  • (1) pack of black dry-erase markers
  • (1) two-pocket folder
  • (1) pack index cards
  • (1) pack of glue sticks  
  • Optional: 1 pack of regular-sized Play-Doh - We also use Play-Doh for our after-lunch quiet time. If you would like to donate a package to the classroom, we would greatly appreciate it!

Grade 1, Self-Contained ABA

Golf Pencils, Dry erase markers and eraser, tissues, Paper Towels, Baby Wipes, Antibacterial Wipes, Glue Sticks, Complete change of clothes for multiple seasons (socks, several pairs of underwear, pants, long-sleeved shirts, shorts, t-shirts).

 

Grade 2:  

1 – Backpack, 1 – Lunch Box/Bag, 1 – Pop Top or No Spill Water Bottle, 12 – No. 2 Pencils, 4 – Pink Erasers, 1 – Wide Tip Markers (1 pack), 2 pack of yellow highlighters, 1 red pen,  4 – Glue Sticks, 1 – Hand Sanitizer, 1 – Pencil Case/Pouch with zipper, 1- Canvas Totebag (approx, 16 Âľ x17 ½ x5”), 1 – Fiskar Scissors (round tip), 1 - pack of expo/dry erase markers, 3 – Pocket Folders,  1 – Composition Notebook, 2 boxes of tissues, 2 pack of Clorox/Lysol wipes

 

Grade 2, Self-Contained ABA

(1) pack dry erase markers fine tip black, (1) dry erase board, (4) glue sticks, (1) pack kinetic sand, (1) pack of #2 pencils, (1) 24-pack crayons, (1) 8-pack washable markers, (2) two-pocket folder, (1) pencil box (no pop-its), (2) boxes of tissues, (3) Lysol wipes (no bleach), (1) hand sanitizer, (1) 2-inch binder with clear front pocket, (3) rolls paper towels, (1) pack latex free disposable gloves size Medium, (3) packs baby wipes unscented, (1) change of clothes, (4) regular size playdoh, (1) pair of over ear headphones with your child’s name on them

 

Grade 3

1 pack of dry erase markers, (1) dry erase board, (1) dry erase board eraser, (1) pack of 24 crayons (no larger), (2) large glue sticks, pencils, (2) plain marble composition notebook (these will be decorated the first weeks of school), (2) red pens, (1) fabric pencil case (no pencils boxes), 1 pack of 3x3 post-its,(1) pair of headphones or earbuds inside a Ziploc bag. 2, two pocket folders.



 

Grade 3, Self-Contained ABA:

(1) pack dry erase markers fine tip black, (1) dry erase board, (4) glue sticks, (1) pack kinetic sand, (1) pack of #2 pencils, (1) 24-pack crayons, (1) 8-pack washable markers, (2) two-pocket folder, (1) pencil box (no pop-its), (2) boxes of tissues, (3) Lysol wipes (no bleach), (1) hand sanitizer, (1) 2-inch binder with clear front pocket, (3) rolls paper towels, (1) pack latex free disposable gloves size Medium, (3) packs baby wipes unscented, (4) regular size playdoh, (1) change of clothes, (1) pair of over ear headphones with your child’s name on them

 

Grade 4: 

(1) soft / fabric pencil case, (1) 12-pack of pencils, (2) composition books (1 for a reading journal and 1 for a writing journal), (1) 1-subject notebook with a pocket (for Math), fine point dry erase markers (1 box of 12 for the year), dry erase board eraser (an old face cloth or cut up towel works great.), pencils/erasers, pens, 3 x 3 in. Post-It Notes, colored pencils, (1) box of tissues, (1) container of wipes, headphones

 

Grade 4, Self-Contained ABA

Grade 5

Dry erase markers (1 box of 12 for the year), dry erase eraser, (1) dry erase board, pencils, pens, (6) two-pocket folders, (3) single-subject, college ruled spiral notebooks, (1) large notebook for math (more than one subject is preferred), (1) pencil case, (1) pair of scissors, (2) glue sticks, coloring (crayons, markers, OR, colored pencils), (2) pads of Post-Its Notes, (1) box of tissues, (1) container of wipes, and (2) highlighters, 1 pair of headphones inside a Ziploc bag (no wireless please)

About

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
