The Nutley Board of Education will hold a work session meeting on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 9 AM in the Media Center of Nutley High School located at 300, Franklin Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110. Upon opening the meeting, the Board will immediately enter into executive session for an undetermined amount of time for the purpose of a grievance hearing.
The agenda to the extent known is to set board and district goals for the 2025/2026 school year.
No action will be taken.
The Nutley Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for June 16, 2025 in the Nutley High School Auditorium has now been relocated to the Charles W. Kucinski, Jr. Auditorium in Lincoln Elementary School, located at 301 Harrison Street, Nutley, NJ 07110 and will begin at 6:00 pm.

The Nutley Music Boosters, in partnership with the Nutley Public School District, are excited to present the 2025 Nutley Summer Music Program, running July 14–25 at Nutley High School.
Open to students entering Grades 3 through 12 in September 2025, the program offers small group lessons in strings, band instruments, voice, and piano. We're delighted to introduce a variety of other courses, including a Musical Theatre Boot Camp, a Jazz Combo, and Introduction to Color Guard and Marching Percussion.
The New Jersey Department of Education has released school and district grades as per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act. These grades were determined by a self-assessment conducted by each school to evaluate its implementation of the ABR Act. The Nutley Public School District has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the district's website, the Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying website, and each individual school's website. Upon opening the meeting, the Board will immediately enter executive session for the purpose of a HIB appeal. Upon exiting the executive session, the public portion of the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm in the Nutley High School Auditorium located at 300 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110.

On April 22, the district hosted its fourth Transition Planning Meeting in the JHWMS Media Center to discuss and plan for the 6th Grade Transition.
