NHS Scheduling

Here you will find all of the necessary resources to support the NHS Scheduling Process.  The NHS School Counselors will begin meeting with students in grades 9-11 to discuss their course requests in February.

The NHS and JHWMS Counselors will be meeting with the current 8th grade students on February 9, 2024 to discuss course requests.

Please submit your scheduling google form (emailed to you) by January 31st.  See or contact your counselor with any questions!  We suggest that you use the Program of Studies and the Course Description Sheets below to learn more about the courses offered at NHS. *The order in which students see their counselor does not impact scheduling, every student has equal access to request courses.

AP (Advanced Placement) Courses:

If you are interested in taking an AP course in 24-25, you must complete the online AP FORM by obtaining signatures from a parent/guardian, current teacher for that subject, and the teacher of the AP course, listed on the front of the form.  The deadline is March 8, 2024.

However, it is advised that you do not wait until the deadline. PLEASE HAVE YOUR AP FORMS COMPLETED BEFORE MEETING WITH YOUR COUNSELOR. If there are any AP courses that you want to request as a "back-up" due to possible schedule conflicts, you must also complete an AP form.
